Take a break from the pool

One trip out to the gorgeous, glass-surfaced, 13,000-acre Lake Anna is enough to convince even the biggest pool rat that the place to be in the summer is Lake Anna State Park.

 

Lake Anna is located in Spotsylvania, Va., about an hour drive from Chantilly.

 

The park itself is more than 2,800 acres, with more than 10 miles of lake front. Lake Anna is a popular spot for fishers and boaters but there is also a swimming beach that can accommodate several hundreds swimmers a day. Read more...

 

Jazzin' it up

The 22nd annual Jazz and Pizzazz performance, performed by Touch of Class and Chantilly Jazz, was presented May 21 through May 24.


Jazz and Pizzazz, a musical ensemble of singing, dancing and instrumental performances, is directed by Keith Taylor and Glenn Cockrell, directors of band and show choir.
